Lawn to Meadow Conversion

In August of 2022, we began the process of converting this 4,000 square foot front lawn to a native plant meadow and wildscape using a mixture of nursery plants and native seed mixes. Our client wanted to be able to walk through their garden, so we installed a meandering crushed granite pathway. We constructed two rain gardens, one designed to utilize rain water runoff from the roof, and the other to capture rain water runoff from the street. Over 300 nursery plants were installed in August, and wildflower seeds were sown in November. Additionally, we constructed four raised beds in the back yard for growing vegetables.
