Ecological Landscape Design
An ecoscape is a human created ecosystem designed to mimic nature. These kinds of natural landscapes serve many functions that benefit our ecosystem.
- They provide sanctuary for native wildlife such as birds, pollinators, insects and animals
- They increase the biodiversity and resiliency of our eco-region
- They conserve water
- They protect and build soil
- Reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides
- They re-connect us to the joy and spirit of nature
An ecoscape can be truly wild or it can be nicely manicured depending on your wishes. The landscape can feature exclusively native plants or it may contain a mix of ornamentals, production crops and natives. We recommend having at least 70% native plants in your landscape to support our local fauna.
Consider Becoming a Habitat Hero!
Do you want your garden to be an oasis and safe haven for birds and pollinators? Do you want to be part of a larger community of earth-caretakers and receive recognition for your garden?
Then a Habitat Hero Garden could be right for you! Audubon Rockies offers awards to gardens that create ecological habitat for birds and meet certain requirements, such as providing year-round food and establishing diverse layers of plant canopy.
All Beings Ecoscapes can design a garden for you that meets all of these criteria and more. Once complete, ABE will submit pictures of your garden to Audubon Rockies along with an application.
If your application is approved, you will receive a Habitat Hero placard for your garden, be invited to participate in Audubon events, and your garden may be featured in their digital communications.
Pollinator Learning Gardens
Are you a school interested in teaching your students about the importance of pollinators while also increasing the sustainability of your campus?
All Beings Ecoscapes specializes in working in youth education and creating Pollinator Learning Gardens.
A Pollinator Learning Garden will feature a diversity of native plants that attract pollinators and will include educational signage on plant botany and pollinator entomology.
“You can solve all the world's problems in a garden.”

Integrative Permaculture Design
Permaculture is the synthesis of man and nature to maximize food production, increase work efficiency, and reduce human waste.
The ethics of permaculture say we should be caring for the earth, caring for people, and sharing access to our resources.
An Integrative Permaculture Design will tie together elements such as vegetable beds, plant guilds, composting systems, fruit production, natives, rainwater catchment and more. An Integrative Permaculture Design starts with a Sector and Zone analysis of your property before commencing a Concept Design.
